Reading time: 2.03 486 words Hey Reader, As parents across the land put the finishing touches to papier maché dragon tails and stick googly eyes all over hats, I’m over here cheering for the authors who inspire us all. Yes, it’s World Book Day once again and it’s NOT just for kids! (although please do feel free to send me pics of the wildest costumes you’ve seen) It feels perfect that tomorrow I’ll be heading to London to celebrate the launch of Sophie Lee’s new book Beyond Palatable: A manifesto for unapologetic women. One of my favourite things to do is open a parcel containing a client’s new book and slide it into its space on my bookshelf. (After reading it again, of course.) Every book I help to bring into the world changes me and that’s what makes me feel so very lucky to do what I do. Sophie has put her soul into this book and it’s remarkable. She’s generous with her own journey, she amplifies stories from other women from diverse backgrounds, and uncovers the history of women’s voices being silenced. It’s the kind of book that stays with you long after you close it. (I should know, I’ve read it multiple times.) To celebrate the launch of Beyond Palatable, Sophie has put together a prize draw and the prizes are SO cool. I’m not just saying that because I’ve added a prize to the pot, either. Just take a look at what you could win here. Want a chance to win? Here’s how:
My prize — the Start Your Book bundle — contains everything you need to DIY the first draft of your book (worth £450 + VAT). Plus, there are strategy sessions, signed books, event tickets, and more up for grabs. What better way to celebrate World Book Day than that? Actually I can think of one better way. Promise yourself you’re finally going to write your own book. That one that’s been rattling around in your head. It feels like a huge undertaking, I know — but you don’t have to do it alone. Working with a book coach can make it so much more manageable. Just ask Sophie. Ready to write your own book? Let’s make it happen. In March, I’m offering:
Hit reply and let’s talk about which is right for you. TTFN, Vicky 🫡 p.s. remember to send me your best World Book Day costume pics! I’ll share my favourites next week! p.p.s. Know someone who might enjoy this email? Please forward it to them and get them to sign up here.

Boss-level snacks, obvs. That, and a guide who will give you a roadmap, clear instructions AND flexibility to work around different brains and situations, and space to actually get your planning done. In December, I took 3 weeks off. Not only did my business not fall apart, I filled a January creativity challenge with 22 customers while I went surfing and read...

(sorry) Every month I’m celebrating some of my clients February is wrapped up in a bow and I wanted to give a huge shout out to my clients. Laura Chamberlain got an offer for a book deal with a BIG name publisher! We’ve been working on her new book for a few months now and I can tell you, the academic world is in for a TREAT. Hey Reader, meme: noun “an element of a culture or system of behaviour passed from one individual to another by imitation or other non-genetic means” It’d be easy to assume memes arrived with the advent of the internet, but that assumption would be wrong. Memes go back to medieval times and probably to cave paintings, too. I love the idea that cavepeople were wandering the lands and calling into their cave-neighbours and thinking...
