Reading time: 3.42 877 words Hey Reader, Watching the Artemis II mission over the past 10 days, and the reaction to it online, has healed something in my soul. Have you SEEN those four incredible humans? They’re bloody poets, bro. Have you seen how delighted and kind and competent they’ve been throughout? Have you seen how much they’ve hugged each other??? Turns out, we’re not turning away from tech. We’re turning away from tech bros and their endless nonsense. And we’re turning towards “for all humankind” which is just *deep exhale. There is no amount of words, pictures, videos, and audio I won’t consume on NASA and the Artemis missions and their astronauts. I’m not alone in that, either. There’s no upper limit to the amount I’ll consume about anything I’m fascinated by. Same for you. Same for your audience. We are hungry for competence, for humanity, for kindness, and for connection in a world that has felt starved of all those things for too long. We can look to NASA’s astronauts, we can look to Hollywood (HELLO Project Hail Mary), and we can look to the Olympics and we should. But we can also BE that competence, humanity, kindness, and connection. We can live it ourselves and spread it about like a benevolent virus. That’s what I do. It’s why I do this. It’s why I help people like you take their stories and their messages and put them into a book to share because I know full well the power of a book to bring a reader to their knees in the BEST way. The book doesn’t have to be long, either. I’m a champion of the MicroBook because tiny books can be mighty. So what do you say? Is it time for YOUR mighty MicroBook to showcase your competence, humanity, and kindness — and connect with people who need it? The doors are fully open now and I invite you to join us. There are two VIP spots left and 6 regular spots. And here are some questions you might want answered: What IS a MicroBook?A MicroBook is a tiny version of a regular book. Instead of writing 200-300 pages and 60-80,000 words, a MicroBook is under 100 pages. Micro but MIGHTY. When does MicroBook Magic begin and end — what’s the schedule?Onboarding week starts on April 27 and the first live welcome call is on Tuesday April 28. There’s a 90-minute live group call every Tuesday at 3.30pm BST. Telegram office hours are every Thursday 2-4pm BST. Showcase is on Tuesday June 30 at 3.30pm. Do you have to complete your MicroBook in 10 weeks? No, you don’t have to. You’ll have access to Circle for 3 months after the course ends, and you’ll be able to download your resources and group calls from a Google Drive folder and keep them forever. You’ll also get a writing and publishing checklist that takes you through all the steps to get your MicroBook out there. What if I want to write a long book?Although this is a MicroBook course and I encourage you to write and publish your MicroBook — there’s no reason why it can’t be the forerunner of a longer book. I’ve worked with people whose MicroBooks have formed part of their longer book, and given it shape and direction. Ultimately though, this is your book — and it can be as long or as short as you want. I’ve already written a book. Can I do this course?Absolutely! This course is for absolute book beginners, or people who want to write their next book but can’t (for whatever reason) get started. Several of my clients have done MicroBook Magic more than once. I don’t live in the UK. Can I do this course?Yes you can! I’ve tried to make the live call and office hours times as accessible as possible. They’re in the afternoon in the UK and Europe, and morning in the US. I have ADHD/autism/am neurodivergent/have other learning requirements. Is this course accessible for me?I have ADHD and am autistic! Many of my clients are neurodivergent and I am experienced in working with people with neurodivergences. I’ve designed this course to be as accessible as possible. All the resources are available in multiple formats: written, audio, and video with closed captions and transcripts. If you need something specific to complete this course successfully, or you have questions about accessibility, please email me to discuss. How much is it?
I also offer payment plans. You can spread the cost over 2 payments:

It does — and I found out yesterday that three of my past MicroBook Magic authors are among the entries! The shortlist is revealed on Tuesday, so I’m currently vibrating with excitement waiting to find out if they make the cut. I’m probably biased, but each one of them deserves to win. Laura Chamberlain told me all about it on our coaching call (yes,...

Reading time: 2.43 644 words Read this email in your browser Hey Reader, Have you heard of Alfred Russel Wallace? No? He came up with the theory of evolution by natural selection. BUT WAIT, I hear you say. THAT WAS CHARLES DARWIN. Yes, it was also Charles Darwin. Both men came up with the theory of evolution separately, and in fact Wallace’s work predates Darwin’s, but Darwin’s is the name we all know. Why? For a variety of reasons, one of which is: Darwin wrote the book on it. Wallace was...
