Hey Reader,

Caution: you may experience these side effects when you write your book:

🌤️ An increased sense of self

🗝️ Realising the true value you have to offer

👀 A new way of looking at the world

✨ Seeing — really seeing — your true skills, knowledge, and talent

(May also cause giddiness, tears, laughter, rage, delight, and a propensity to panic-eat cheese.)

And that’s just the side effects.

Because you also get A BOOK.

A real live book you can hold in your hot little hands!

Everyone’s main aim is the book, right? It was definitely my main aim.

But the thing that surprised and delighted me when I wrote my first book (and every book I’ve written since then) wasn’t so much holding it in my hands…

ALTHOUGH THAT WAS AWESOME

…it was all those side-effects above.

Because until we commit to creating something like a book, until we go deep and wring out our brain, most of us don’t realise what we’re capable of.

We don’t realise the true depth of our knowledge, passion, skills, and talent.

And when the reviews come rolling in from people who’ve read our books and loved them, we realise what a profound impact we can have on other humans without ever knowing it.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know: the book itself is just the tip of a very exciting iceberg.

So you should write yours, yeah?

Yeah.

And if you’re like, “Well YES Vicky I’d love to but honestly this book has been stuck in my throat for so damn long I just want to set fire to everything” I have just the thing.

This Spring, I’m running MicroBook Magic Season 7 (WOW SEASON 7 that’s SO cool) starting on April 28.

It’s for creative entrepreneurs, misfits, coaches, writers, and CEOs who are OVER feeling guilty about that half-finished masterpiece idea and ready for authordom.

In 8 weeks of guided, small-group book coaching, you’ll:

  • Come out of this with a PROPER book worthy of publishing – and publish it
  • Get absolute clarity on the idea that’s most important and exciting to you RIGHT NOW
  • Feel like you have a professional creative writing and book coach as a mentor and champion because you will. IT’S ME! You’ll get my eyes on everything you write on this adventure.
  • Unlock a new achievement in Things You Can Do and start the summer on a high, a published author!
  • Emerge with new creative writing skills, publishing skills, and ideas that’ll make you so proud you’ll want to start your next book immediately!

You might be thinking, “But Vicky what’s a MicroBook?”

Good question.

A MicroBook is 100 pages or under (some of my MicroBook Magicians have packed a powerful punch into 30-odd pages) and around 10-25,000 words.

Some of the best, most valuable books I’ve read have been bite-sized lessons I instantly loved. Some of them have been tiny. Some, micro.

It’s not the size that matters, baby; it’s the message.

If you can speak passionately about one idea for 30 minutes, and you want to write a book, and you’ve wanted to do it for the longest time – dammit, let’s do it. Right now.

My birthday bonus — a 60-minute private coaching call with me before MicroBook Magic begins — is still available until 5pm BST.

Sign up now and get £1,200-worth of private coaching included!

TTFN,

Vicky

(Yep I woke up and chose violence today and I AM NOT SORRY) The cognitive dissonance that comes from repeatedly vowing to do something but not doing it is painful. It makes a liar of us. For a lot of people (and myself on occasion) this is what a week looks like: 😀 Monday: Will work on my book today, but first I need to do more research between my other work. I’ll start...

(this isn’t a flex, promise) I took a massive scary leap and turned away from something people needed — sales copywriting — towards something nobody “needs” — writing a book. I kinda expected to last a month, then have to get a job picking fruit or stacking shelves or go back to being a cleaner again. But something weird and wonderful happened: people wanted to write. They...
