Hey Reader,

I love it when a piece of tangible evidence arrives to support something I know and feel to be true.

Like — nobody is going to remember any of your LinkedIn posts or Instagram posts or Tweets in 10 years.

Sorry, they’re not. Because social media is designed to be hooky, addictive, and instantly forgettable, like cheap candy.

But a long-form piece of writing or media?

That, they might remember.

On Friday, during my regular chat with my bestie Misty, she told me her yoga class is now full, which is pretty cool.

Even cooler: some of her clients are from way back in the day when she used to run a bricks-and-mortar gym and fitness company, and they came running when they saw she was now teaching yoga.

Even cooler than that: a couple of newbies said they’d seen her article in the Huffington Post.

Misty wrote that article about 10 years ago.

It’s STILL bringing her clients.

If an article in an online newspaper can work that hard for you, imagine how hard a book could work for you. Forever.

The sooner you get that book written, the longest it works for you. I’m booking one client into my 3-month Book Breakthrough Lab starting in October — it’s the fastest way to a first draft. If you want to explore whether it’s right for you, book a call here:

TTFN,

I can never decide whether my favourite moment of working with someone to write their book is a) when I see the light go on behind their eyes when they realise they have a good idea, they CAN write, and they really believe they can...

Like, for example, tackling an overgrown garden? Or renovating a house? Or… writing a book? I mean, let’s be honest, sometimes I feel like that about starting my day. Especially if I’m a bit tangled in the duvet. Getting out of bed feels more unachievable than a triple backflip on the...

First of all: I don’t make any guarantees about what the book will do...
