Hey Reader,

When I asked Kenda about writing her book Hack the Buyer Brain, she told me it changed everything for her.

I’m not saying it was magic; Kenda put the work in after she’d written the book and made sure it got in front of the right people.

For three months after publishing it, she had nearly two interviews per week about it. She sold enough books on the prelaunch to pay for the first print run. And within two months she’d sold over 300 copies.

Two brand new clients came to her directly through the book, both within a day of reading it.

And she won an award for Outstanding Contribution to her field as a result of writing the book, which officially makes it an award-winning book.

All this is brilliant but I think the thing that made me jump up and down most was this:

“It’s also been made required reading for the Content Marketing Academy, as well as part of the syllabus for two universities in the UK.”

How freaking cool is that?

Not everyone is going to see things like this happen. It depends on the type of book you write, your reasons for writing it, and what you’re willing and able to do to promote it.

But I can tell you this: writing a book will change you profoundly.

It’ll teach you things about yourself that you could never have foreseen. It’ll teach you about your subject matter, too.

If you’re clear on what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and who you’re doing it for, writing your book can be life-changing.

Or it can simply be really good fun.

You can read Kenda’s story right here.

And if you’re ready to write your own book?

MicroBook Magic Season 8 starts on Monday April 27. The doors aren’t officially open yet but if you’d like to sneak in early, I have some brilliant bonuses worth at least £500.

Drop me a reply and let’s talk.

TTFN,

Vicky 🫡
