Hey Reader,

For two years Kevin’s book languished, tormenting him from book purgatory.

He’d started and stopped it so many times he had spiritual whiplash and despaired of ever getting his message out there.

Until he found me and booked me for a day to help him figure it out.

In just one day, we took his book from 2-year-abandoned hot mess to a well-structured plan.

Six months later, he published it.

Shortly after that, it became a bestseller.

Here’s what he said about working with me:

  • I create clarity from chaos turning a disorganised, overwhelming writing process into a clear, structured plan, so you can see the path ahead.
  • Blunt force trauma with a pillow: I will always tell you exactly what I think, clearly, kindly, and without sugarcoating it. Waffling around the subject just creates more overwhelm underneath the fuzzy feelings.
  • Tiny Beetle Steps just for you: I’m a simple soul and I’m great at breaking tasks down into the smallest possible atomic part, making what feels like an impossible task become achievable.
  • I see patterns: It’s not just writing the book with me; I see the bigger picture of your work and its potential impact.
  • I have an uncooperative mind: AuDHD. A lot of writing advice is aggressively unhelpful to those with similar brains to mine, so I understand the unique challenges that different personalities face, particularly those who are neurodivergent or struggling with self-doubt.
  • It’s not about you: I’m always ready to gently squash your ego with the important reminder that your book is not for you. Or those competitors you want to impress. It’s for your reader, and I’ll make sure you focus on how to take them on a journey. Your ego is a shitty writer and I won’t let it get in your way.
  • I lend you my confidence: You might not feel like you can do this right now, but I know you can. So you can borrow my confidence and just get on with it, rather than fretting over your imaginary flaws.
  • No off-the-rack approach here: There’s no single right way to write a book. There’s YOUR way, and I will help to coax that out of you so you can write your brilliant book.

We did most of this work in one of my Book Breakthrough VIP Days for ÂŁ5,000.

But if that’s not within reach at the moment, fear not! Season 8 of MicroBook Magic begins at the end of April.

If you wanted to sneak in early, I’ve got some exciting bonuses:

  • A FREE Book Breakthrough: Unlocked 1:1 session (worth ÂŁ1,450) for those booking a VIP spot (there are 3 VIP spots available at ÂŁ3,950 each).
  • A FREE group workshop (worth ÂŁ350) for those booking the standard MicroBook Magic spot (there are 10 spots available at ÂŁ2,575 each).

Payment plans are available.

Both these bonuses are designed to get you off to a flying start — you’ll have your idea, your goals, and your reader journey nailed down before you begin the actual writing.

The early bird bonuses evaporate at 5pm on April 3.

If you’d like to join early, reply to this email and let’s get you booked.

TTFN,

Vicky 🫡

Reading time: 3.08 743 words Read this email in your browser Hey Reader, Speaking opportunities, new clients, media — oh my! These are the things book coaches often shout about when we’re talking about what we do. The exciting outcomes of writing a book. What you don’t often hear about is how much work goes into making those things happen. I see claims all the time like this one: “Write your book and it’ll open ALL the doors. Event organisers will fall over themselves to invite you to speak...

Need to write an about page? There’ll be a course for that. Lemme at it. Want to create a newsletter in InDesign? I spy a course called “InDesign for Beginners” take my money. Gonna learn the guitar? That online course looks spiffing I shall partake. Do I get past the first module or two? I do not. I am a...

Every now and then I think about that. It’s like my Roman Empire. The idea that it’s a good thing to glorify ignorance and thickness. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with being ignorant about stuff. We all start out that way. But staying ignorant is a problem, especially now when we’ve got the whole of...
